Is it Spring Yet?
I have all these Facebook friends from places a good bit south of me, who are already talking about their gardens. Whereas I live in a place where they pretty much say you have to wait till Mother’s Day or so to plant anything and be fairly sure there won’t be a killing frost before it matures.
But that doesn’t stop me from plotting…I found this article on Eat Drink Better with some information on “companion planting” (plants which help other plants by being planted nearby) that I hadn’t known before…
I knew that basil is good for tomatoes, and that marigolds are excellent for deterring nemotodes…but this has a few more I didn’t know about.
Check it out!
